Responsible for the professional development of 28 of the Navy’s best Sailors. Lead the day-to-day administration, training, policy compliance, and mission readiness of the Data Fusion Center and the Flag Command Center. Assist with development of requirements for the Commander, Third Fleet Maritime Operations Center (MOC) command and control systems and infrastructure to support current and future operations. Provide project planning, engineering, and integration oversight to assist the Fleet Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) in the effective planning and management of the Maritime Multi-Tactical Data Link Network Provide system administration; operation, configuration management and provide training on installed Data Link Hosts to include Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT), peripheral systems, and associated cryptographic equipment. Develop, modify and coordinate the requirements for the Third Fleet commanders Operational Task (OPTASK) for all Tactical Data Links, Common Tactical Picture (CTP), Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) and supplements. Manage overlay database, input/modify overlays as required and distribute to deploying strike groups, and maintain architecture and other documentation Provide SME services for systems administration, configuration, and training on Global Ballistic Missile Defense Communication Net as it relates to the LMMT Maritime Operations Center in the Middle (MITM) architecture Act as technical liaison between the PACFLT Current Operations, Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), and Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) for issues relating to configurations, upgrades, tests, exercises, and operations which involve or utilize the LMMT MITM architecture Support the JICO in various working groups, meetings and exercises; and will respond to emergent tasking and casualties Support, as needed, additional hours to accommodate meetings, troubleshooting efforts, and exercises.
