Bio
Robin Kelly
I had several years experience of working with Robert when he was still a student as he became one of our most reliable and skilled casual analysts during the early years of the FDC project in Leeds. Following his graduation I was delighted to have him as one of the first appointments to our own team of in-ground analysts in 2016 where he not only used his experience of Opta analysis to full effect but also showed great commitment, often travelling long distance to cover matches at short notice. Rob then made the step up to a full time position with Perform/Stats Perform co-ordinating our field operations as well as all other supervisory tasks and quickly established himself as a popular and valued member of the team. He developed a number of effective new processes during his time with the company as well as taking ownership of the management, training and development of over 130 analysts in the field, notably running the summer training workshops in 2019. An excellent communicator, Robert is also extremely well-organised and innovative in his approach with broad experience in a number of areas and I feel this makes him a valuable asset to any team or organisation fortunate to have him amongst their ranks.
