Server Management – Manage, Upgrade, and Deploy servers within company network; work with VMware and virtualization, Citrix, Windows servers 2008 to present version, Linux servers, Exchange and other specialized servers and databases. End User Systems – On-site and remote desktop support to end users to resolve issues on hardware and software. Work with many different medical oriented software and hardware appliances. Workstation Deployment – Build images for various workstation configurations, deploy as needed. Push out additional software, security apps, and updates. Training – Train users in the use of new software and hardware; instruct new employees concerning IT rules and use. On Call Support – Provide after hours and weekend support on a rotating schedule; assist users with computer and network issues remotely or on-site. Documentation – Create documentation, instruction sheets, and flow charts as needed by the IT department or other departments. Vendors & Purchasing – Work with vendors and 3rd party providers to coordinate setup of new hardware or software and troubleshoot issues.
