Ez Tree Inc. is a well established, full service, tree removal and arbor business capable of disease control, diagnostics, insect treatments, along with, complete tree and stump removal and waste disposal. I started the service from the ground up, from inception to it's finish. I surpassed the threshold of resource maximization with the least amount of investment capital needed to maintain higher profit margins. Seasonally, from spring until fall, I was able to consistantly produced between $3,000.00 and $5,000.00 in average, weekly sales, while maintaining a 34% to 38% net profit margin.

We began with 4 city cab's and built the largest transportation business between Detroit and Chicago. In less than 7 years, through diversifying our portfolio of services, and maximizing our resources and logistics, I was able to grow this business into a highly profitable, $13 million anual revenue stream. Ultimately, I was able to force 5 other local competing transportation businesses under, and monopolized the entire tri county's tranportation needs. By obtaining contracts major corporate accounts with every local branch of Kellogg's, Stryker, Pharmacia and Upjohn, Lear Corporation, Matag, all of the local Hospitals, Hotels, Railroads, along wih being awarded the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo City County transportation bids, our company was able to dominate local expedite freight and luggage deliveries, as well as, branching into the national tour bus industry , LTL trucking, logistics and warehouse distribution, markets. As opporations manager, I was responsible for setting corporate goals and objectives, bugeting, departmental oversite, complete sales and marketing, down to every negotiation and sales meeting, creation of all sales material, from the active HTML web design, down to every advertising gesture. The smooth coordination every organizational department and it's operations: HR, purchasing, maintenance, accounting, as well as, the handling of all legal concerns, and their potential liabilities. I was responsible for meeting with all of the local city, state, and government representatives, as well as, assuring that our company's awareness, adhearance, and compliance of those local, state, government regulatory agencies were strictly met and enforced, from labor/contracting laws, unemployment/worker's compensation claims, to proper and adequate city and state licensing guidelines.

    • Owner & Chief Executive Officer

We provided sub-assembly labor for larger manufacturing corporations to assist with their assembly overflow and congestion, while simultaneously lowering their overall labor hour costs and employee liabilities. I employed between 15 to 20 part and full time assemblers for larger clients like Depatie, Stryker Co., Union Pump, and Isringhausen. All of my fixed overhead expenses were covered by renting companies like Isringhausen, and Yellow Rose Trucking with 8,000 square ft. of our warehouse floorspace in order to recieve, store, and deliver, their excessive bulk, in process, or finished materials.
