    • Construction, Demolition, Maintenance
      • May 2009 - Dec 2015

Starting prior in 2009 and up to 2015, I played a crucial role in the construction division as a Carpenters Apprentice. Learning very important aspects in this field was crucial to my job and workforce experience. Learning hands on, with the best workers in the business how to build. Building is a whole different beast, than say Archiving. Its very physical, with high risk and with that also high reward. Building a physical element to a structure, is a very solid skill. Learning a trade is an invaluable experience. I believe everyone should have at least skills in one trade. In order to develop the skill sets of a Carpenter, I learned how to take orders and get work done on time, with a high quality of craftmanship. I learned the importance of safety procedures and practices. I was involved in projects such as a Condo Rebuild in South Windsor, framing the second story of a fire damaged building. I started work with Imagineers during my summer breaks from college. This is a description of the company from their website. Imagineers, L.L.C. is a housing services company. We're a Connecticut-based rental property management company that manages condominiums, housing, and housing programs. We also renovate and maintain housing. Show less

As a Barista, I was able to master and achieve the highest quality of excellence through classic hands on customer interaction, team workmanship and hard work with the extra elbow grease. In learning their companies process and LEAN principles, it enabled me to grow vastly. Hard work, with high reward, not to mention consistent savings in Coffee or " Liquid Productivity". Great business, very important integral aspect of my experiences in the work force and real world. Connecting with your customers, is everything. Establishing strong connections, equates to reliable and consistent business, which in turn allows for growth and prosperity. To any regulars who follow me on LinkedIn, I urge you to stay in contact. The connections I made with you, was more than just coffee. Show less

    • Archivist/Post-Production
      • Aug 2012 - Feb 2013

As a freelance Archivist at Howcast, I started my career out of college working in an industry that has made many intelligent Men and Women very rich. The sucess alone of Youtube, changed how we interact world wide. It was a very exciting time to work in the industry. The housing market crashed, jobs were difficult to find. When I got that e-mail from Heather, offering me work I had to jump all over it. I was very fortunate to work in my opinion the epicenter of the East, archiving footage onto a cloud server. Mind you, in 2012 the cloud was just making its way into the multi-media sector. I learned a different way of making money, in a business so new. Howcast made their money using Google Analytics, using numbers to forecast and drive viewer content. Every single topic, was formulted based off google searches and then turned into attractive and informative material. The material I worked on, was placed into cloud based servers. I learned and excelled at archiving, transcoding and organizing the Media Content. It was a completley necessary job and experience. I commuted from Hartford to New Haven, got on Metro North into Grand Central and then subway downtown to Soho. I woke up at 5AM and got home at 10PM. It was very rewarding and taught me dedication and persistence. Show less
