      Certified Criminal Trial Attorney. I have conducted over 80 jury trials in my career - everything from homicides to elder abuse. I mentor and train younger lawyers and teach police recruits and existing police officers at the John H. Stamler Police Academy (Courtroom Testimony, Eyewitness Identification and Use of Force). I am certified as an instructor by the Police Training Commission. Since August 1, 2019, I have been assigned to the Special Prosecutions Unit, where my duties include investigating and prosecuting financial/economic crimes, public corruption, election law violations, and internet crimes against children. Since 2016, I have been part of the Office's Open Public Records Act response team. From November 1, 2014 to July 31, 2019, I was assigned to the Insurance Fraud Unit. From June 2008 through October 2014 (and November 1999 to February 2004), I served in the Trial Team Unit. I managed an extensive case load and prosecuted complex cases including murder, carjacking, robbery and elder abuse. I served as a Team Leader from April 2011 to February 2013.
