Working as part of the Nationals management team, I am currently responsible for the management of multi-located sites for our client within the Yorkshire and North Eastern region's of England. Tasks undertaken range from initial site visits to carryout specific risk assessing, accurate measuring, estimating, pricing, planning, method statement writing and sense checking, pre-start meetings, through to the mobilisation of teams, equipment, the coordination of other sub-contractors who may be working in conjunction with ourselves, ensuring the satisfactory completion of project, all in line with HSE CAR 2012 regulations. At the start of the year I was tasked with the writing of our specific method statement library for our new client within the Power Supply Industry, 40 method templates have been produced and are currently in use throughout the contract, this, along with various other measures, were designed to add to our efficiency as a team, streamlining our process', freeing up the time of contracts manager's and administrative staff alike, which in turn increased the time we are able to provide for planning, the management of our site teams and each project , ultimately increasing our potential productivity as a whole. As a team we are currently at the test stage with the innovation, design & development of a bespoke piece of equipment, designed to provide both electrical insulation & mechanical protection for operatives and equipment alike, whilst also writing a safe method of asbestos removal to enable our site teams to carryout removal from a live 11kv electrical board, the aim is to overcome a long standing issue for our client as it is impractical to isolate the live boards due to the obligations placed upon the supplier (our client) to maintain the supply of electricity to domestic & commercial premises.Regularly required to attend progress/business/client meetings, maintaining balance between client requirements and the requirements of my employer.
