Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead

My main responsibility lies in the architecture, design, and development of applications and software. ══ PROFICIENCY ══ I develop various software applications through an array of technologies like PHP, Laravel, Node, React, and JavaScript. Typically, I assist and lead colleagues in software projects. I provide guidance, lead stand-ups and scrum, handle impediments, manage code reviews, work closely with product owners on requirements and deliverability deadlines, and make the important SDLC and tech decisions. I architected and developed an entire Optimal Blue pricing engine integration utilizing Laravel and MySQL to make it consumable as an API. This application is something that I continue to maintain. I worked diligently to build a ReactJS/NodeJS calculator application for LO’s (and their clients) that allows the user to input several loan variables to determine what a client can afford. Currently, I’m the team lead over developers for several projects using Angular, ReactJS, Node, and PHP/Laravel. I work with the business to translate requirements for existing projects, doing release management, and doing developer code reviews. I also provide coaching and mentorship for junior developers. I manage developers both on and offshore. I collaborate with QA, product owners, and developers to be certain that requirements are met and delivered timely.
