    • Vice President Creator/Manager of SBA Lending Platform
      • May 2019 - Feb 2022

Created SBA-enhanced lending process and platform that included staffing, operations, financial forecasting and budgeting, training, marketing, and process management. This was completed in 2020 bank-wide across a six-state footprint that had to be integrated into an existing and well-seasoned commercial lending platform for commercial loans enhanced by the U.S. Small Business Administration. This also later included the development of a loan sale process for the sale of guaranteed balances on the secondary market. All project forecasts were exceeded in 2020 despite the effects of COVID, quarantining, and a massive pivot to generate over 7,000 PPP loans totaling $850 million in loan commitments. In 2020, this also included the development of an ad hoc process to originate, track, report, and process for forgiveness Payroll Protection Program (PPP) loans. This required the mobilization of hundreds of employees to help process many thousands of PPP loans totaling almost $1 billion. This has been a Once-In-A-Career event, as was the banking crash in the late 2000s, and I am proud but deeply humbled by the work completed by this team, and the thousands of individuals and small businesses we have been able to help, and continue to help, during this extremely challenging time.
