In 1997 he was recognized by the DowntownOptimist Club of Houston for outstanding service in law enforcement. He served as the SupervisorySpecial Agent on the Violent Crimes/Terrorism Squad in Newark, New Jersey and as the SupervisorySenior Resident Agent in Trenton, New Jersey.
