I restored management to a 25-person department that had no leader for six months. Overcoming a number of staff obstacles, I led a strategic build-up on four pairs of caliper brake assemblies to support a three-month production line transfer to Mexico. Results included the near-perfect depletion of all raw material and finished goods inventory. Earned Submarine Warfare Officer insignia, completed five strategic deterrent patrols, awarded two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and qualified as a Prospective Nuclear Engineering Officer (PNEO).
