Retired with 30 years service in the U.S. Navy, as of May 2006. This career includes time served in 2 war campaigns, and other various classified operations for my country National Defense. Educated and experienced as a (radioman technician) classified material communication person. Trained and experienced to operate and repair antennas, cryptography, radio equipment, and other sensitive stuff. I performed these duties for nine years total. I then relinquished Top Secret (upper lever) down to a lower level Top Secret security clearance, and changed my job classification to something that interested me even more, Machinist. I completed the remainder of my military service as an auxiliary nuclear plant trained Machinist. The civilian equivalent would be called a Marine Mechanic. This includes the fields of water handling, refrigeration, atmospheric controls, diesel engine operations, and other numerous machinery operations and repair. Since discharge from active duty in 1996. I started a slow transition to civilian life. Show less
