I thoroughly enjoyed working with Dr. Rob. It was a learning experience for me especially to work with a supervisor who was extremely passionate about integrating health and technology to help people. Dr. Rob was open to taking feedback which created a collaborative environment for working. The opportunity to work at Force for Health really enriched my college experience.

Proud to have worked with good people in this small town, where with the most giving generous people I have ever met. I came to make a difference and help advance health literacy, access, and quality and I have move on to scale what I have learned to other communities with my consulting and software skills and passion. Created and Lead the Population Health Innovations team to create a Global Health Value Based Care Transformation Plan that was accepted into the first cohort for the State Medicaid Demonstration Project. Unfortunately, a corporate buyout of the hospital radically changed the philosophy and this success was not taken advantage of. Provided Clinical Pulmonary Medicine services as the only pulmonologist to ever live in this county, and positioned it to expand its services with submission of a Lung Center plan positioning it to be a regional resource. Created the Force for Health Program as a community health needs assessment implementation plan that was embraced and localized by the community, and is now sustained with federal support and volunteer use of the modules across the community including the college, high schools, community service , faith based, and drug prevention organizations. As a volunteer physician, I helped set up a clinic to serve the NYPD and others as they dealt with the search, rescue, and recovery from the attacks on the World trade Center on 911. The effort eventually lead to creation of the World Trade Center Registry that is caring for 80,000 victims of the trauma and dust exposure in NY and work with the White House on population health initiatives.
