  Worked on the ATB Vision for a month for sea time while going to Maine Maritime Academy. Was fast paced work with crude oil cargo operation happening at least once a day if not twice. Enjoyed the work load as it always gave me something to do. This was quite different from my time on a LNG Tanker which had long transit times between cargo operations.   Aboard LNGRV Excelerate for 2 months for sea time and experience while going to Maine Maritime Academy. Learned deep sea transit aboard this tanker as we sailed from the middle east to japan. With more time out in the open ocean we focused on safety and the fine details of the voyage. Helped create voyage plans and later on in my time aboard I created voyage plans on my own with professional guidance when needed. Enjoyed the work that needed to be done and how there was less of a time restraint as compared to my time on an ATB lightering vessel. Show less
