I am the CEO of Oxygen XL, a ARM (accounts receivable management) firm. I was at a point where I felt stuck. We were growing but I felt we were not reaching our potential as a business. I reached out to the Imperial team to develop a plan to provide visibility and take the business to the next level. Bob came into the business and helped identify areas for improvement. He helped improve our cash flow projection process, identify profitability leaks, design bonus programs, and help with our culture and people issues. He also helped coach me through difficult conversations and help evaluate some of our employees to ensure we had the right people in the right seats. Bob ultimately became the

I am a partner at Imperial Advisory and serve as a fractional financial executive sharing my decades of financial and C-suite experience with CEOs and CFOs. After being in the industry for over 30 years, I know first-hand that making decisions for your business is hard. When there's a lot at risk, decision-making can be complicated. It's not always clear whether a decision you're making is what's best for your business. As your outsourced CFO, I become your financial strategist. My team and I look at your business holistically, take on the role of advisor, and assist you in making more educated financial decisions for your business. Imperial Advisory partners with you to determine the smartest way for you to make money and the best way for you to reinvest your resources and capital back into the business. Show less

I am most passionate about the people side of business. What they deliver to your customers, and to each other, defines your company. They are your best marketing. Your employees are your customers, and they deserve a great experience. People are, well, people. A culture of open communications, feedback, rewards and recognition, all in an environment of dignity and respect is good for all, and good for the bottom line. We can create or improve such an environment together. Start with hiring the right people to contribute what your company needs. Create a great first impression, and continually reinforce your message. Back in the 90's, it was my personal experience that pre-employment assessments helped me to hire more effectively. From there I moved into using the assessment process to put together highly effective teams, matching skills and adding complementary skills to round out the team. As the organization grew, coaching executives became another tool that was highly effective and a great investment. After 30 years in management, 25 of which was in the C-suite, I never passed up an opportunity to coach individuals or teams. It's a great way to motivate, educate, and improve morale. It's a great way to be more productive, and helps your brand. It is this passion for coaching, combined with experience, that drives me to pursue this path, and utilize these skills for others. After serving as CFO for 23 years, I was promoted to Chief Executive Officer and served as a Director of CSC ServiceWorks and its subsidiaries. During my seven years as CEO, CSC doubled in size, with financial backing from private equity, primarily through acquisition. As such, we integrated legacy systems, and melded operating cultures. I served as Chief Financial Officer of CSC ServiceWorks, Coinmach and its predecessors. CSC ServiceWorks is the leading provider of multi-family housing and commercial laundry solutions in residential and academic properties, as well as the industry leader in air vending services at convenience stores and gas stations servicing an installed base of 1.4 million units. CSC ServiceWorks operates in all major metropolitan areas throughout the United States, as well as Canada and Europe, with a workforce in excess of 3,000. Operating in the public and private environment, I integrated numerous acquisitions, completed various restructurings and corporate sale and capital market transactions. This resulted in extensive experience navigating Wall Street, including private equity, infrastructure funds, investor relations, the commercial lending and fixed income/equity markets, and rating agencies interactions.During my 30 years at the company, CSC grew from $12.0 million in EBITDA with operations in a single building to over $300 million, across over 40 states, as well as in Canada and Europe. Through my many roles, I committed to the success of our business. Our commitment to building a world-class service organization that delivers an awesome customer experience to our employees and customers is truly important. We strive to be nimble in the execution of our customer promise. Show less
