  Images in Stone was initially opened to perform the sale and installation of custom tile, granite, marble, and ceramic tile for floors and countertops in both interior and exterior applications. As company owner, I was solely responsible for acquisition of all projects and management of the day to day company operations, including, but not limited to customer service, proposal and invoice preparation, job costing, accounting and collections, procurement of all materials related to projects, management of vendor accounts and subcontract crews and on-site project supervision. I have experience working with not only homeowners, but also architects, designers and builders to create a finished product that customers are consistently pleased with. In April 2003, I added a business partner with 20 years of experience in building and remodeling, allowing us to expand our client base by offering remodeling and building for residential and commercial projects in addition to basic and custom tile work. Through this relationship I gained knowledge in City and County permitting processes, remodeling project design and implementation, and materials acquisition and planning for construction projects. As a small business, “Images” was able to maintain yearly sales of over $325,000 each of the last six years.   As Warehouse Manager, I managed a staff of up to 6 people and reported directly to the company owner on daily warehouse operations. My team was responsible for all operations of shipping and receiving of both international and domestic freight, as well as all material counts and reconciliation of material overages and shortages. Responsible for compliance with and review of OSHA regulations. I worked directly with sales staff on scheduling and project details, ensuring that installation crews had all materials required for a project on-site in a timely manner. I would routinely oversee installation of materials, from tile work to granite counter tops and work with customers on a one on one basis to agree on job details from installation patterns to grout color. Coordinated and managed move of warehouse to a new, larger facility. Planned rack layout, moved inventory, re-stocked and organized warehouse so it could be utilized as efficiently as possible.
