The time I had been working under Robert's lead was an exciting, rewarding, and professional experience. The product and project portfolio comprised many complex and interesting projects and Robert has an exceptional mastery over allocating resources, managing deadlines, and handling/mitigating risk. He is very objective and fair in his assessments and decision making. He will give credit where credit is due. I have seen his attention to team members' capabilities, develop a growth plan for them, and promote them into thriving positions. I can say that because Robert took the initiative and had provided me with a growing career path by way of promotion at the time when I was at Encon. Robert always had an open office policy where anyone can drop by and talk about anything pertaining to the job, or actually anything else. He made the time - as busy as he is. He has great interpersonal skills and is a pleasure to work with. A nice thing about working under Robert is that he is not a micro-manager. He provides guidance and direction while allowing for individual autonomy to get the job done. This is a great environment to work in because there is an amount of freedom given to explore ideas, designs, code, tests, processes, and technologies as recommendations or acceptance as solutions to Robert and team. As Robert possesses technical expertise in SQL, web development, agile methodology, legacy systems (AS 400), project management, business processes, and more, he can also be looked on reliably for both business and technical consultations. I have had an exceptional experience working at Encon (almost 10 years - my longest at any company). Robert had been an integral part of making that such a great experience. Thank you Robert!
