  With revenues over $30M and 120+ employees, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of custom steel and stainless steel cast products for use in industries including oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, pulp & paper, forestry, mining and transportation.Reporting to the corporate CEO, directed management teams in all areas of the operation including sales, production, engineering, QA, accounting and HR. Planned and directed the implementation of strategic objectives and had complete P & L responsibility.Led management teams in the planning and implementation of various initiatives that helped the company grow from $15M in revenues and 80 employees to $25M in revenues and 120 employees.Directed management and operations teams in identifying, procuring and installing capital improvements that dramatically improved efficiencies on the shop floor, as much as 50% or $3M in one area, resolved environmental issues, improved safety and working conditions, and positioned the company for future growth.Worked with the General Manager of the international division to plan and implement strategies to increase revenues over 5 years by 183% and profits by 383%. Assisted the retiring founders in the sale of the company. Advised the principals on the tax effects of different offers and assisted in the final negotiations for the sale. A new strategic owner was secured and the seller’s proceeds from the sale were maximized. My appointment as President ensured a successful transition to new ownership.
