Brian Meyer
Robert was a newsroom intern at WBFO Radio in the spring semester of 2016. WBFO is the NPR station in Western New York. As news director, I was his primary supervisor. Robert was an intelligent, dependable contributor who conducted dozens of interviews with newsmakers. He wrote many radio scripts and web articles on at least a dozen diverse topics. He was determined to "get the story," always welcomed new challenges and welcomed constructive criticism. Robert was an excellent contributor in our newsroom.

During the time I worked with Rob at the Cortland Standard I found him to be a very meticulous and professional journalist. He would follow up on all leads from sources and took all tasks assigned to him very seriously. He was also very eager to learn and grow in the profession. I enjoyed working with Rob.
