Collected, refined, disseminated, monitored and assessed COIN best practices in theater. Maintained continuous communications with the RC-East CAAT Team Leader and reported on location, activities, and operational needs. Deployed to hostile environments designated by the US Government as a Hostile Fire Zone, lived and worked under field conditions in temporary facilities. Worked daily with General Officers and senior level Staff on operational and administrative elements. Operated in the field approximately 15‐20 days a month, embedded at the tactical level under austere conditions. Coordinated for and completed multiple fixed and rotary wing movements throughout area of operations Embedded with 3 US Combat Brigades and 13 Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) Kandaks (Battalions), including Afghan Uniformed Police, Afghan National Army, Afghan Border Police, and Afghan Local Police down to the Squad level, and advised on COIN, ANSF development, and transition of NATO Coalition Forces' operations to Afghan control.
