Evaluation of Barnett Shale Water Supply ProjectConfidentialThe client proposed to construct a pipeline system and central processing facility in Parker Co., TX intended to 1) transport water obtained from the City of Weatherford municipal wastewater treatment plant and other sources; 2) distribute it to gas well operators for use in fracturing operations; 3) collect and process “flow-back” and produced water from gas wells; and 4) dispose of the concentrated impurity stream from the processing facility in licensed disposal wells in the area. Mr. Bergeron evaluated the water resources related elements of the project including market conditions, water pricing, water availability, water disposal pricing and permitting.Gas Reuse Economic Feasibility StudyTRAThe purpose of this project was to evaluate the feasibility of energy production from methane gas produced from the Grand Prairie MSW landfill, the Irving MSW landfill, and the TRA’s CRWS anaerobic digesters. This assessment evaluated the potential for gas production and energy generation, investigated the location of and operation of a cogeneration facility or sale of the gas as a commodity, including an economic assessment of the cogeneration facility at the CRWS treatment facility, evaluated options for use of waste heat, and provided recommendations for how to proceed with the cogeneration project. Brackish Groundwater Desalination Feasibility AnalysisSAWSMr, Bergeron performed a routing study for the proposed pipeline connecting the well field, booster pump stations, treatment facility and delivery point. Additionally, Mr. Bergeron participated in the VSEP pilot study portion of the feasibility analysis to evaluate increased recovery potential utilizing concentrate from the RO process.Sewer Master PlanConsulting Engineer for Water/WastewaterLUSMenefee Creek Open Channel StudyCity of Ft.
