I taught children, teenagers and adults at B1, B2 and C1 levels both at group level and during one-to-one sessions. Using mainly materials provided by the academy and following directed syllabuses I was able to adapt the lessons for the particular student requirements. These lessons proved successful and of benefit to the students, as demonstrated by their achievements during examinations. I continue to teach English on a self-employed basis. Following the organisation's decision to move to a virtual environment, I project managed the pilot system to move the existing main communication system from a physical to a virtual environment. This met with many challenges, not least the lack of experience within the technical teams. However, the project team were able to move the system over to the new environment within revised timescales and the project has led the way for future systems being hosted on a virtual environment. I was originally assigned with project managing and supporting a number of varied, small projects. The organisation was immature in the way that it used Project Management, in particular PRINCE2. The main task was to substantiate and confirm the composition of the equipment installed during the Navy’s response to providing high bandwidth CIS to HM ships whilst at HM Naval Bases. The project utilised ATM switching and fibre optic infrastructure to deliver voice, video and data service to HM ships whilst alongside in HM Naval Bases.
