  I am a change agent for my school, the American International School of Guangzhou, China. Through on-going research, planning, piloting and refinement, I collaborate with innovation coaches, administrators and teachers to develop programs which support learning in engaging and innovative ways. Currently my focus is around spatial pedagogy and supporting teachers as we develop innovative learning environments at AISG. A former classroom teacher of 20 years, I am passionate about working with teachers to develop engaging learning that prepares our students for what's next. I am fortunate to work with dedicated professionals in a highly collaborative environment. None of our successes would be possible without this team effort. Currently my work focuses on our master planning project which is rebuilding some structures, as well as opening some brand new buildings. My role has been in sharing research and providing PD opportunities around spatial pedagogy. Previously I led our team to successfully implement our cloud computing initiative to leverage Microsoft 365 to enhance collaboration and communication school-wide. Earlier work at AISG included implementing a 1:1 laptop program in Grades 6 to 12 and an iPad program in pre-school to Grade 5. I also serve on our Senior Leadership Team and supervise a technology facilitation team of three coaches and eight tech support and engineering staff. I'm responsible for planning and assist in delivering all technology PD for our K-12 faculty. Our annual technology budget typically runs between one and two million USD.
