      I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as well as a Clinical Fellow , Approved Supervisor and Supervisor of Supervisors, with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Additionally I am an Ordained and Licensed Minister, a Certified Pastoral/Spiritual Counselor, a Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at the Graduate School of Marriage and Family Studies of Evangelical Seminary, Myerstown, PA and also the Director of the Master of Arts in Ministry as well as the Master of Divinity Programs at Evangelical. I have served in numerous therapy/ministerial roles such as Clinical Director of Student Counseling centers, part time drug and alcohol counselor, pastoral counselor in church contexts, etc and have also authored and published a book (with the help of my daughter Heather Palmer Welesko) entitled, "The Diamond of Adversity: A Theology of Suffering"​ (Published by Next Step Resources and available on Amazon.com). I am available to assist post Master's Level clinicians in their pursuit of supervision regarding state licensure, as well as Master's Level students seeking clinical supervision while completing their graduate work. Additionally, I am available to counseling centers for professional presentations regarding a host of clinical (therapy) related topics such as lectures on professional ethics, client issues, marital processes, etc. Finally, I enjoy assisting religious and church based organizations as a trainer for lay-counseling classes, weekend marriage/family enrichment experiences, Biblical studies as well as studies in the paranormal and the supernatural.
