Harro Stokman
Rob was among the first engineers that joined Kepler Vision in June 2018 and has played a key role in the architecture and implementation of the Kepler Night Nurse software. He is a skilled software developer who knows how to design software that is reliable, scalable and maintainable. Rob oversees the complete development process, from inception to delivery. Kepler Vision develops software for "body-language understanding" using Computer Vision (CV) and Machine Learning (ML) technology. The company is a spin-off from the University of Amsterdam. In my role as a software engineer at Kepler I'm building and maintaining various parts of the internal software stack: - Continuous integration & delivery pipelines for machine learning models - The cloud infrastructure that's used for development (training/testing) and production (inference) - An annotation toolkit to label image and video data - Specific CV/ML product implementations, such as the Kepler Night Nurse software Show less

Working as a consultant at SIG is the closest thing to being a software doctor. I see a lot of different software systems on a daily basis and a big part of my job is to determine if these systems are in good shape. The systems I encounter range from embedded software to multi-technology back-office portfolios (basically from mobile to mainframe). In my role as a consultant I assess both newly built systems or systems that are in operation for over 30 years. To do my work I combine my analytical skills, automated software analysis, structured analysis processes and expert opinion. It's challenging work and a puzzler at times. SIG is a fast-growing management consultancy company focusing on software quality, software risks and software economics.
