I have had the pleasure of working with Rob for almost 2yrs now. Rob has a selfless mission of service to the organization and his team. I have appreciated his counsel and ear. It is nice to collaborate with a colleague that "gets it" and compliments your efforts and conversely also seeks perspective always wanting to see obstacles and opportunities for other points of view. To Whom it may concern: Rob Tossas is my immediate Supervisor and has the traits and qualities needed to an effective and driven manager for a large Team that is extreme in skills and ability to drive top line revenue! This requires a unique and more challenging Management style based on each of his direct reports Skill Level and Motivation to win. Some of the characteristics he demonstrates that result in highly motivating the Team and driving top line revenue: * Is always receptive to new ideas and doing things different, and encourages his Team to "Think" outside the box and don't do things just because that's the way we have always done it. * Creates a Culture that demands each of his Team member is respectful and professional to each other. There have been a few times where someone was being disrespectful to another Team Member and Rob addressed it and resolved it immediately. A Manager who looks away at this type of behavior will soon lose the whole Team and it's almost impossible to get them back! * When the Company rolls out new programs or polices Rob is typically the first one to embrace the initiative and make sure the Team has the same mentality. Recently we implemented a new app for our Service Sales Reps would be using and there were many issues with the program and we knew this going into the program, but Rob told the Team if this new program/app failed it would not be because we did not give it a 100% chance. This meant many Team calls with the software company that developed this program. It did eventually fail and I believe a big reason is due to Rob's persistence to resolving the issues our SSR's were having and even though we signed a contract with them the program was terminated and I believe it was a direct result of Rob doing his due diligence to make sure this was a win/win for the Company and his Team. These are just a few examples of many of the Managerial Attributes Rob possesses and in my 30 plus years of Management and Sales Rob is truly one that has a tremendous amount of energy and passion for the Company and Team that works for him. He understands that driving "Profitable Top Line Revenue" is attainable with hard work and doing things differently if what your doing today is not working.
