Onshore based role with vessel mobilisations as part of ROV Department at the workshop in Westhill. Working onshore as part of i-tech division of Subsea7 at the workshop in Aberdeen. Complete overhaul and servicing to work class ROV and TMS. Systems I have worked on are Centurion HD, Centurion QX, Hercules, Perry Slingsby TMS and various SMD Subs; QX, Quantum and Compact/Extended TMS Manufacture, assembly, test and servicing of workshop and third party manufactured kit including HPUs, Valve Packs, Thruster Control Units, Thrusters, Pan and Tilts and mechanical sub-assemblies (filters, radiators, pumps, tooling panels and schilling manipulators) System commissioning of all ROV and TMS operations including completion of FAT documents, full function checklist and final tank testing piloting for client acceptance. Skills include hard piping, assembly, electrical and umbilical terminations, pressure testing, hydraulic trouble shooting, assisting electrical tech’s with wiring and trouble shooting and general tooling duties.
