Rob has a great work ethic, with a down to earth and logical approach to projects. Rob is not afraid to use his initiative and I was always able to count on his intelligent input when faced with a challenge. Rob was a great asset to the team during his internship with us; in the world of qual there are always peaks and troughs and in a short space of time Rob quickly adapted to this. When it was busy he was quick to get involved and wouldn't wait around to be asked, when it was quiet he was great at coming up with innovative ways to use his time. He demonstrated a particular interest and skill in online qual and I wouldn't be surprised if this is where he ends up. During his time with us he successfully managed the set-up of a webcam based project. At the same time Rob clearly has a breadth of skills, we are an integrated qual/ quant team and he worked on some survey data analysis too and I only heard good things from my quant equivalent. I would describe Rob as enthusiastic and committed, he would be a great addition to any research team and clearly has some of the natural curiosity you would expect from anyone starting out in this field.
