  My initial role at airbus was the repair and modification of the A380 rib components replacing the cracked rib feet ensuring the new part was fitted the exact and specifications and tolerances. My duties now at airbus vary from day to day, I am responsible for the installation of various aircraft components i.e. Pylon, spigots, ribs etc and also the repair and rework of any snags or concessions during the build. My role is reliant on exact precision in a lean manufacturing environment.
