On behalf of the Mayor and City Council, I respond to requests for all types of assistance for community members, private and corporate. Working closely with the Mayor on all issues of budget, city resources, employee relations, community concerns and civic events are a small part of the job. Through the City Manager, I work with our dept. heads to ensure that they are aware of the issues brought to the Mayor/ Council. Everyday we offer help to those who are vulnerable and at risk. Helping individuals and families who truly need a hand up to meet their needs is part of my daily routine. Help with food, shelter, energy assistance, senior assistance, etc are some of the daily services offered. I work closely with our state and federal delegations to ensure that our constituents voices are heard on the local, state and national level. Public and private agencies that offer community assistance on all levels are a key part in making this job work. Everyone who walks into City Hall, calls City Hall or emails City Hall will be treated with respect, dignity and caring.

We've been blessed to have an LLC like Paradiddle. We offer strategic planning and business maps for seasonal retail and food shops. We work very closely with J-1 Student Visa companies to ensure your staffing needs are met and developed according to your shops individual needs. We also help bring your Mom and Pop shop the extra "oomph" that it needs to get attention and ultimately be profitable. We've been blessed to have an LLC like Paradiddle. As a Board, we are responsible to set and uphold policy. We hire who would best lead the district with the best vision, common sense and leadership. We work closely with our exceptional unions. We may not always agree on every topic, but we all have the same goal: To do what is best for our students and to ensure that our employees are treated with professionalism and respect. We control a budget of 125 Million, including grants. We negotiate all contracts and work with the City to ensure that our schools remain a safe, welcoming place that our students, parents and community would want to be a part of and support. As an individual Board Member, I am proud to say that I visit schools weekly, volunteer with the Maloney HIgh School Music Department regularly and other schools as requested. Being a member of the board doesn't just mean attending weekly meetings. It means being involved in the school system. It means rolling up your sleeves to cook at the fundraiser, help that child who needs a tutor, mentor and friend. I am proud to support hundreds of events throughout the district.
