I met Rob around 10 years ago and I could immediately tell that he was the real deal. Rob is a natural born leader that makes things happen for the good of his company on a regular basis. He has an unmatched work ethic that you rarely see in our industry and it shows with his growth within Coburn’s Supply. Rob is a very relatable, customer conscious person that always can find a solution. When it comes to organization, very few can compare. I believe this goes back to his military training and the work ethic instilled in him through his years in the Army. There is never a problem too large for Rob. Dealing with me, Rob is always very respectful, kind and open to ideas or products that I would recommend he try. Keep an eye out for this guy, Rob is going places in the world. I’d bet on Rob any day.

It is my pleasure to recommend Rob Grinton for any future endeavors he may be associated with. He has proven himself to not only handle the assignments he has been given but to excel beyond the projected goals.. I am Rick Kincel and I was Rob's supervisor for a couple of years beginning around 2010 and then as a coworker with him after he filled the position I vacated. My personal experience is running My HVAC Company for 25 years with multiple employees. Then on to a International HVAC Equipment Manufacturer for 9 years opening HVAC Training labs and writing Technical as well as Soft Skill training for over 1000 employees. For the last 13 years I am employed with a great HVAC Distributor writing curriculum and training employees and our contractor's service and installation techs. Rob initially worked the counter for us doing inside sales while continuing his education in Wholesale Distribution. Later he ran the HVAC Dept. of Coburns Lake Charles while still handling Outside Sales for our Deridder Branch. His drive is exceptional, he is always looking to improve himself through education, personal experiences, and listening to contractors to understand their needs so he can come to a mutually benificial resolution. His management skills come from his education as well as his "in the trenches" work ethic where he learned by doing. His military background, that instilled a chain of command, has also benefited him well. He understands how to separate the personal from the professional side of everyday business and as a manager I have witnessed him deal with some of the everyday issues he had with employees. The best way I can describe his management style is "Firm but Fair" and in my opinion this is a very valuable trait in a manager. While I respect the work he has accomplished it is important to say specifically how he handled the operations aspect while increasing branch sales after 2 hurricanes and a flood devastated his City, Branch and his personal home. His milti-tasking skills were, to say the least, put to the test during those couple of years. The thing I respect most of him, is his personality... he has become a good loyal friend and one that I am proud of. A fine young man. He is a great asset to our company and he will also be for any other opportunity he finds himself with. If you need any more information from me please feel free to contact me 337-534-3717.
