Originally, Contactless Access™ was designed as enhanced access for users with disabilities, the current pandemic has highlighted the fact we need less contact. Often people with disabilities and others with full hands, boxes or small kids can't reach the elevator or door buttons.Elevators and accessible door buttons are some of the dirtiest places we commonly touch. A new study by the Austrailia's national science agency finds that on hard surfaces such as door paddles and elevator buttons, Covid-19 can last as long as 28 days at room temperature, so enhanced accessibility isn't the only benefit of our Contactless Access™.
