  One year co-op / apprentice placement within the Industrial Millwright Mechanic Mohawk college 433A program. During this one year co-op program worked alongside millwrights and independently ensuring all production equipment was running at full capacity. Worked closely with designer/ engineer on a newly designed production machine. Read diagrams and schematic drawings for the installation of this new equipment and fabricated parts and tables for this 2 million dollar machine. Operated rigging equipment and dollies. Fit bearings, aligned conveyor belts, timing of conveyor belts, aligned gears and shafts to precise tolerances for candy production lines. Trouble shooting and quick repair often staying late to get machine up and running after mechanical failure. Fabricated parts when necessary. Worked closely with production staff and was available at all times to repair equipment. Completed preventative maintenance and tear down so cleaning crew could clean machines when not running.
