Daily tasks largely consisted of roughing-in and finishing in new construction homes across the expanding areas of Calgary. While still working alongside journeymen, I performed on occasion rough-in projects with little to no supervision using blueprints to complete jobs to satisfaction. I was assigned to an underground crew, where I assisted and installed power coming into newly poured foundations of homes and completing meter bases and panel installs. Often working alongside top-performing technicians learning, observing, and practicing customer care while performing high-quality service to satisfaction and beyond. 4-star provides excellent training to their apprentices and ensures they are fully capable of performing every job no matter how big or small. Tasks ranged from circuit diagnostic and repair to new construction installation. We were acutely made aware to perform clean work with no damage to client property. While working in high-rise construction sites, I performed tasks that largely involved pulling wire through conduit in concrete walls and floors. Participated in a crew that moved and placed switchgear and transformers in the main electrical room of the building. I also roughed-in PVC boxes and Cor-line conduit (amongst other components) in concrete slabs.ential While working in high-rise construction sites, I performed tasks that largely involved pulling wire through conduit in concrete walls and floors.
