Second innings at Ducati, I was entrusted with the comprehensive oversight of dealership and showroom operations, driving performance and profitability, with a sharp focus on front-line sales, I fostered meaningful customer relationships and tailored experiences, resulting in consistent sales and customer satisfaction. As a skilled leader, I led and motivated a dynamic team, consistently achieved targets through effective coaching and goal-setting. My strategic sales forecasting and planning ensured inventory optimization and seamless product purchase processes in both wholesale and retail. Building upon my strong communication and negotiation skills, I fostered a connection and relation between manufacturer and dealer, creating a collaborative and efficient environment. Additionally, my expertise along with my team led to the ideation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns, enhancing the Ducati brand's visibility and attracting new customers. Collaborating with prominent brands, influential individuals, key brand promoters and loyalists, I initiated successful partnerships that boosted brand value and market positioning in the premium and luxury space. During my quick stint at BMW Motorrad - Mumbai, I was a part of the pilot team that worked collectively through a successful transition from an importer to a dealer set up, reporting into the NSC - BMW Motorrad India. This involved establishing the dealership set up, aligning the sales and marketing process, and meticulously planning the sales strategy for both superbikes and smart cc bikes from BMW Motorrad. Focused on higher sales volumes through a dealer perspective, as opposed to the previous importer set up. The outcome was a seamless and efficient operation that I fulfilled and contributed too. Joined the Infinity group to kick-start the re-launch of Ducati operations for Mumbai, as Ducati India, following the exit of the previous importer. Embracing Ducati as an exciting challenge and an opportunity to apply my knowledge effectively, I enthusiastically accepted the offer. As a crucial member of the pilot team responsible for sales and marketing, we achieved remarkable success, with Ducati selling approximately 300+ units in the first 24 months. My primary focus was on driving sales while simultaneously nurturing Ducati's brand values, delivering exceptional customer service, setting high standards for sales and customer experience, introducing the product to a market that hadn't experienced Ducati, fostering a unique culture, and ensuring the brand received the recognition and awareness it deserved. These efforts resulted in significant sales growth, capturing a substantial market share due to the pent-up demand and the collective efforts of our team. My time at Ducati was enriching, despite the initial challenges of overcoming the baggage associated with the brand's past. It provided me with new insights, valuable experiences, a fresh perspective, a wealth of knowledge, and a profound understanding of how to resurrect, relaunch, and elevate a brand to its rightful prominence. Bike Management / Logistics

Jan 2014 - Feb 2014
Post my exit from HD - Seven Islands Mumbai, I took up a quick project with the good folks at Seventy EMG / India Bike Bike. Executed the logistics/transportation of motorcycles to be showcased at the festival across various venues like the vintage concourse, the superbike den, the custom build section, to name a few. Simultaneously coordinated with individual bike owners, brand manufacturers, and custom bike builders from across the country. This project was great fun,I had priviledged access and was custodian to some of the most precious and exotic machines that are here in India and were a part of the India Bike Week. Most importantly, I got to experience the priceless passion, admiration and love each of these owners had for their machines Show less

The journey began as a fresh-faced intern at Harley Davidson - Seven Islands, where I eagerly embraced the challenge of immersing myself in the dynamic automotive industry. My primary goal during this transformative experience was to acquire invaluable knowledge about the intricacies of the sales process, with a special focus on the luxury and premium segments of retail sales, accessories, and lifestyle offerings. As an intern, I had the unparalleled opportunity to grasp the inner workings of the automotive business and the art of catering to discerning customers seeking high-end products and experiences. Through hands-on experiences and the guidance of mentors, I honed my skills and developed a profound understanding of the premium market. My dedication and worth soon became evident, leading to a seamless transition from intern to a full-fledged member of the Harley Davidson - Seven Islands team. Being absorbed into the company within 3 months and officially joining the payroll was a gratifying validation of my hard work and commitment. Notably, I achieved the distinction of being the second employee nationwide to accomplish 100 retail sales by early 2013. This achievement further fueled my drive to excel and contributed significantly to my growth within the organization. As a part of the Harley Davidson family, I continued to thrive, propelled by my passion for motorcycles and my determination to excel in the luxury retail sphere. This experience laid the foundation for my successful career, and I cherish the valuable lessons learned and the connections made during this pivotal time in my professional journey. Show less
