  This Research Practicum at UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW), through the Department of Emergency Medicine, allows qualified UTD students to participate in clinical research projects conducted within the Emergency Department (ED) at Parkland Hospital and William P. Clements, Jr, University Hospital. Prior to placement in clinical settings, students are fully credentialed to conduct research at the two hospitals and at UT Southwestern. This program allows students to interact with physicians, residents and medical students as well as patients in the ED.
