Director, Alumni Affairs
-
Aug 2008 - Oct 2015
Teach For America's Colorado region grew from 122 alumni in 2007 to over 1500 in 2015. Over 60% of the region's alumni made annual donations of time and/or money back to Teach For America, a national organization which aims to ensure all kids, regardless of zip code or background, attain an excellent education. The regional alumni team connects local alumni to leadership positions, professional development opportunities and to a growing network of alumni who continue to advocate for educational equity long after they complete their two year teaching commitments in under-resourced schools.

Director, Charter School Partnerships
-
May 2007 - Jul 2008
Teach For America's National Alumni Team provides TFA alumni nationwide with support structures for their leadership pursuits. The School Leadership Initiative launched in 2007 to help alumni with an interest in principal positions identify and apply for principal preparation programs and then match them to assistant principal and principal openings in low-income schools. In my role, I managed TFA's national partnerships with New Leaders, KIPP, Building Excellent Schools, Edison Learning, and Lighthouse Academies.
