I worked with Robbie from 2012 till 2018, with him initially as an open-source volunteer, then as a senior member of our engineering team, before taking over as CTO. Robbie was instrumental in turning our technology platform's ship around, especially between 2015 and 2018 when he moved on from Ushahidi. He led the technology team to a successful launch after some initial delays while building trust and motivating a team of highly skilled engineers. It was also under his leadership that we saw increased diversity on our engineering team. Robbie is an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and skilled leader, and he would be an excellent addition to any organisation he works with. I would highly recommend him.
