FTI (Förpacknings- och Tidningsinsamlingen) are responsible for nationwide collection of Packaging and Newspapers. As Head of Operations, it is my responsibility to make strategies and find solutions to improve operational efficiency. Manage organization’s daily activities and lead a team of 20 employees. My goal is to improve service quality, material quality and improve logistics efficiency. Responsibilities:• Setting, reviewing, keeping track of, and adjusting budgets to promote profitability, over 900 million SEK per annum.• Coordinate with board in making decisions for strategic goals and operational activities.• Lead the departmenty, keep employees motivated and ensuring their development plan.• Ensuring financial targets and KPIs reached in all departments.• Oversee procurement processes and coordinate resources allocation.• Manage relationships and agreements with external partners.• Evaluate efficiency of business processes to meet objectives and implement improvements.• Revise and formulate policies and their implementation.• Research new technologies, solutions and alternative methods of problem solving and increase efficiency.• As in charge for procurement it is my job to oversee development of purchasing strategies which meet budgetary and other operational requirements of the company. Purchasing includes nationwide collection, snatiation services, bailing and material handling. We negotiate contracts between 3 to 5 years for over 2 000 million SEK.

Manager Baling-facilities and Logistics

FTI (Förpacknings- och Tidningsinsamlingen) are responsible for nationwide recycling of Packaging and Newspapers. As Manager Baling-facilities and Logistics it is my responsibility that the company has a countrywide network of contracted bailing facilities. It is to ensure an effective handling of all collected packaging material from FTI's different collection streams including the Recycling Stations and Curbside collection. Provide logistics solutions from these facilities for domestic and international buyers and recyclers and finding new innovative solutions to meet the futures requirements and challenges for material handling, sorting and logistics. Ensuring that my team is motivated to achieve goals and maintain agreed standards of work performance. It is also required of me to support the organisation to improve material quality and recyclability.

FTI (Förpacknings- och Tidningsinsamlingen) are responsible for nationwide recycling of Packaging and Newspapers. As Senior Advisor it was my responsibility to support the organisation with expert opinion in fields of collections, sales, material recycling and material quality. I was also responsible that the company had a countrywide network of contracted bailing facilities that ensure effective logistics for collection from FTIs Recycling Stations and material handling. It was also my responsibility that we have logistics solutions for domestic and international buyers and recycler. Responsibilities included finding new innovative solutions in to meet the futures requirement and new challenges.

As Head of Operations I was responsible for strategies to improve operational efficiency and find innovative solutions in respective fields – and for the organization’s daily activities and leading a team of 18 employees. Results:• Transformed the department, from a traditional customer and distribution center to a sales focused department.• Managed to change the opening hours to increase service for the end customer, from 9 to 5 to 24/7 – at the time as we developed our processes, which enabled us to increase service quality while reducing workforce and cost by about 20%.• Launched the sale of combi transports to our offer, which resulted in a 5% increase in train occupancy.Responsibilities:• Organizing and leading a department, consisting of 22 employees, with responsibility for providing logistic solutions, transport reservation, customer service, traffic information, and door to door solutions.• Coordinate the operations between Cargo Net and its German and Italian counterparts.• Packaging and launch of product distribution.
