Part of study of the carrying capacity of diving and coastal tourism team. My role in this team as benthic observer who collect percentage substrate cover data. In this study carrying capacity of diving tourism using time swim method. Time Swim is methods of observing coral reefs as whole in a short time. We collet charismatic biota data too such as sea turtle, reef-shark, humphead wrasse (napoleon) etc. During this project i learning how to use drones, even though so hard to handle it to me, still learning till i can operate drones So glad be a part of this team. Part of the Reef Health Monitoring (RHM) Team in Derawan Islands, East Kalimantan. We collaborated with WWF-Indonesia Team to do observe coral and reef fish. My role in this team as reef fish observer. Reef fish data was collected using visual census methods with belt transect. I learn a new things in this RHM project. Its my first time for me as Fish Observer

Reef Fish Observer
-
Aug 2021 - Aug 2021
Part of the team in carrying capacity tourism in Nyamuk islands. Coastal ecosystems are important factors in the tourism sector, including mangrove, seagrass and coral reef ecosystems. With this ecosystem assessment, it can be used as a benchmark for tourism recommendations on the island. I joined this team as reef fish observer to collect data of reef fish in several spot planned to be a tourism sector. All species of fish recorded for comparison in several spot as recommendation become recreational spot Show less

Jul 2021 - Jul 2021
Collect data cover percentage, diversity and coral disease. To estimate coral cover percentage using LIT methods that means recorded data per cm under the transect up to genus level. While for coral disease using Belt Transect method, to know prevalence between healthy coral and diseased coral.

Nov 2020 - Nov 2020
I was recently work for coral reef monitoring project. As a benthic observer i have capability to collect data coral, marine invertebrates, and substrate. For this Coral reef monitoring using "Reef Health Monitoring" method. To collect subtrates data using "Point Intercept Transect" , PIT mean to calculate percent cover of benthic substrate randomly, using line which is marked every 0.5 m using scale line (roll meter) We work as a team in this project. So glad join this team on WWF Coral Reef Monitoring Project Koon and Serutbar Show less

Marine Mammal Observer

Nov 2020 - Nov 2020
Marine Mammal Observation (MMO) aims to reduce impact due pilling activites that cause underwater noise. This noise can effect to marine mammal. The Process of marine mammal observation (MMO) is carried out by dividing into 2 teams, each team consist 2 people. Observations during the grinding process lasted 3 weeks, since the first grinding carried out. The data recorded consist of pilling start, weather, coordinate points, visibility, tides, marine mammals sighting.
