  Developing an analysis tool using Matlab capable of detecting different driving styles and road conditions using basic input characteristics. The analysis tool was verified against vehicles of different power-to-weight ratios so that the tool could detect driving style independent of vehicle performance. Using the tool, fleet data from 40+ vehicles running in the US and 10+ vehicles running in the EU were categorized to examine vehicle usage patterns.
