I got to know Mrs. Rita Maydaa in a Problem Management Plus (PM+) Training of Trainers in Beirut/Lebanon that I had led as Master trainer in September 2019. The classroom training was followed by a practice phase with a duration of four months. This training served to establish this low intensity psychological intervention for the first time in Lebanon with the help of experienced clinical psychologists. Mrs. Maydaa showed during the training extreme high motivation to understand and practice PM+. She engaged very constructively in training and supervision. Her contributions reflected the integration of her prior excellent (practical and theoretical) clinical knowledge. Furthermore, she has shown remarkable presentation skills and the ability to handle challenging group dynamics in the role as group leader. Authenticity, warmth, conscientiousness, cognitive/interactive flexibility & high respect for others are her central characteristics.
