I am writing a letter in support of Mr. Rishiraj B. Mathur’s application to your institution as the Liaison Librarian of Engineering in Drexel University Libraries. I have known Rishiraj since April of 2014 when we met during a meeting regarding the initiation of one of his research projects on Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells. I was genuinely happy to know about the enthusiasm and drive his team had for research and offered my expertise on using various tools to conduct their research. The only team member that contacted me afterwards our meeting was Rishiraj. I believe his enthusiasm is a vital part of him which is reflected in his work. Furthermore, I have assisted Rishiraj with many other projects, such as the NASA RASC-AL competition. I was often startled by the number of projects Rishiraj had on his hand, and how he tackled each and every one of them with the enthusiasm and time they required. Due to the NASA project, Rishiraj had learning experiences that I maintain are vital for students studying for undergraduate degrees. He learned about good leadership and proper ways of keeping the team interested, incentivized and integrated. He is full of vigor, dedication and devotion towards different tasks that he undertakes. I have observed him to be very keen, dedicated and enthusiastic about learning new things. He is an excellent presenter and is very keen on promoting good ideas so that they can be implemented for the betterment of the society as a whole. What I liked the most about Rishiraj is his respectful demeanor and humble mannerisms that he projects during his conversations, communications and other presentations. He is determined to excel in everything he aspires to do in the future. There is no doubt in my mind that Rishiraj will contribute, to the best of his abilities, successfully and efficiently. I strongly recommend him for this position. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any questions you may have. Jay Bhatt Liaison Librarian for Engineering Drexel University bhattjj@drexel.edu
