  I interned at Guestlist Network, a publishing house in London that deals with music events around Europe. Since I loved music, I immediately accepted my first internship after graduating from Loughborough. It was fun working with Guestlist people and get to know different artists and styles of electronic music like dubstep, bass, hiphop, rnb, reggae, house and trans.. I designed graphics for different issues and articles that got published in monthly Guestlist issue. This exposed me to the world of publishing and visual design. Show less

  After working in the field of engineering and project management, I developed a keen interest in design problem solving and also wanted to combine my passion for drawing, sketching, visualizing with my profession so I decided to specialize in Industrial Design and to understand more about Industrial Design and product design, I left my Job at Soham Surface Coatings and started taking lessons under renowned designer Mr. Ashok Panwalkar of 3F Design who also was a former Design Director at Philips, Netherlands. I learned a lot about aesthetics, product design process, colors, attention to detail, design problem solving, prototyping, design philosophy under his mentor ship and guidance. I also monitored the progress of few design projects at 3F design on the basis of my earlier experience of handling large scale projects. This one year period under the guidance of Mr. Panwalkar exposed me to the world of Industrial Design and prepared me for my postgraduate degree in Industrial Design at Loughborough University, United Kingdom.   Project Planning and Execution. Handled big value automation and turnkey projects for Soham Surface Coatings Pvt Ltd, formerly Thermax Surface Coating, a Thermax Division. The role involved techno commercial negotiations with clients after the projects were handed over to projects division for execution. The primary nature of projects at Soham Surface Coatings was Design and Installation of large scale Automated and conveyorised paint and powder coating plants for manufacturing and automobile industry in India. My role was to plan the project timeline on the basis of design, manufacturing and installation activities along with the logistics. I used Microsoft Projects to plan all the project activities in detail and completed CPM and PERT for the same. I also closely monitored the project progress and kept a tract of all the project activities and made sure the project gets completed on time. I visited sites all around around India and monitored and project progress during the installation stage. This gave me an in-depth knowledge of design & engineering related with such type of large scale engineering projects. Successfully Completed Following Project 1. NHK Springs India PVT LTD. (IMT Manesar Haryana)- Installation and commissioning of an automated powder coating plant for stabilizer bar. 2. International Combustion (MIDC Aurangabad) : Installation and commissioning of an automated conveyorised Paint Plant for German geared motors by Bauger. 3. Cummins Power Generation (MIDC Pirangut) : Installation and commissioning of two automated conveyorised paint plants for alternators. 4. Godrej & Boyce PVT LTD (Ambattur, Chennai ) : Installation and commissioning of an automated conveyorised powder coating plant of industrial storage system panels for Storage system solutions division of G&B. 5. Volvo Eicher (Pithampur, Indaur) : Installation and commissioning of paint baking ovens in 7 days plant shutdown for Eicher truck cabins. Show less
