As the Head of Technology, I am responsible for managing three departments - Back-end and drivers development, front-end development, and embedded systems. I lead a team of engineer in each department, ensuring that they have the resources and support needed to deliver high-quality solutions.In the back-end and drivers development department, my team is focused on developing the back-end infrastructure and drivers required to support our products. We use FastAPI to build RESTful APIs that are used by our front-end applications and embedded systems. We are proficient in Python, and we use various databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.In the front-end development department, my team is focused on developing web applications using React JS. We collaborate with the backend and drivers development team to ensure that our applications are seamless and efficient. We use various technologies and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Redux, and Bootstrap, to develop highly responsive and user-friendly applications.In the embedded systems department, my team is focused on developing the firmware and software required to support our hardware products. We use C, C++, and Python to develop firmware for various micro-controllers, including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32. We also use various communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN to interface with different sensors and actuators.Overall, as the Head of Technology, I am responsible for managing three departments and leading a team of experts in each department. I collaborate with other departments in the company to ensure that our technology solutions meet the needs of our clients and lead research and development efforts to explore new technologies that can improve our products and services. During my Product Innovation Internship, I gained valuable experience working with NI LabVIEW, energy management solutions, Arduino, and ESP8266. I also became proficient in using TCP protocol for wireless communication of devices and networking. One of the highlights of my internship was designing and developing a bottle cap weight tester for a liquor company. The device used a small custom-designed PCB and sent data using Bluetooth to a mobile app that generated a load graph with time. This device was instrumental in checking the load on the cap, ensuring the quality of the product.
