I worked with Rini on the Migration of the TUI UK&I eCommerce Systems to the cloud that had an annual revenue of over £4 Billion and is made up of 7 independent applications in order to operate. Rini played a key role in planning how we would roll out the massive change across both the production environment and the test environments, without causing disruption to the release train, that was delivering new features into the eCommerce systems to support major commercial activity and supporting other large Business program plans. Professional, flexible and dedicated, Rini was key to being able to merge the agile delivery methods of the web migration team with the existing waterfall processes that supported many of the other environments that integrated with the eCommerce systems. With with the migration teams, BAU teams, and project teams, Rini was able to coordinate the feature releases alongside the environment migrations in such a way that the disruption between the streams were minimal. Rini also worked as part of the migration team to arrange the business testing teams on the night of the migration, leading coordination and tracking of testing progress alongside operating triage of any issues that were found and working with the project team to achieve speedy recovery and resolution. Consequently the night of the migration was extremely smooth and success. After the migration, she worked closely with the DevOps teams to establish new release models to support leveraging the capabilities in cloud and support key steps to achieving CI/CD for software delivery.
