Conducted research about the properties of DNS-based security and Proxy (HTTP) based security. I wrote a report about the advantages and disadvantages of using DNS-based security against proxy-based security, the comparison of DNS-based security and proxy-based security also includes daily life experiences from real cases. I also participated in a special training given to the only 3 inters about fundamentals network engineering with practical examples specially provided by the CEO of Roksit. Then, I have found a chance to work directly with the CEO of Roksit, Erhan Yuksel. I showed up in the product promotions presented by him to the customers. I learned the properties of Roksit’s products which are filtering and categorization of the DNS requests and crucial for the security of the network. I also wrote a paper about every single product of Roksit, and this paper was expected to be very simple so that an individual who does not know anything about networks can understand how every single product works, and in which areas Roksit’s products are essential for malware protection, tracing the source of threats and how Roksit’s products differ from its potential alternatives in the market. Moreover, I improved myself on Python programming language to an intermediate level in data science and machine learning. I have also learned ethical hacking methods in Python. Moreover, I configured Kali Linux, Windows(target device) on Virtualbox. During my internship, I have learned and applied packet sniffing using airodump-ng, carrying out deauthenticaiton attacks, fake-authentication attacks, WEP,WPA/WPA2 cracking, information gathering with using netdiscover, zenmap/nmap, ARP poisoning using arpspoof & bettercap, bypassing HTTPS/HSTS, DNS spoofing, sniffing and analysing data via Wireshark, creating a fake AP using Mana-Toolkit, detecting suspicious activities/ARP poisoning with Wireshark and preventing MITM attacks.

Became a member of the 'PsyEd' team. We prepared a lean canvas about our enterprise which mostly takes place in the digital platform. Therefore we determined the main problem which our innovation will handle and the main reason why our enterprise should exist. Then we considered some minor problems that lead to the main problem that our innovation will be a precise solution to that issue. Then we analyze current negative and positive trends in the digital sector and also we examined the economic situation of the market from a macro perspective. We found some possible minor solutions provided by our enterprise to each minor problem. Hence we also established the fundamentals and prepared the main properties of our enterprise. Moreover, after the market analysis, we created the 'persona profile' which will symbolize the whole sample, our potential customers. After we created the profile of our potential customers as one individual, we prepared a set of questions specific to that imaginary customer in order to analyze his behaviors in a better sense. Then we find some potential customers and carried out variety of interviews to gather information about the current situation of the market.

Prepared my own website named “sarpkurt.com” by using HTML and CSS to establish and host my own website on Apache Server in Ubuntu/Linux operating system. Therefore I learned the configuration of BranchCache on Windows OS and applied it to devices that use Windows in order to reduce the network traffic. I also enrolled and completed the CompTIA A+ course issued by Cybrary and received a certificate for completing the tests and virtual labs. During this period I learned the fundamentals of cybersecurity and applied basic practices on virtual machines which include the removal of malware and spyware software. Hence I learned the application of software installation and returning some main points in an Operating system if an issue occurs. I also applied the basics of scripting in PowerShell and software troubleshooting some concerns in BIOS. Moreover, I also worked on securing files in a domain by encrypting them. I completed the virtual labs by applying some basic commands on Linux and on Windows. I learned how to secure file data by encrypting. I used my knowledge of Python to deal with and analyze large datasets from excel and csv files. I participated in 27 hours CISCO (CCNA) course in Udemy and received a certificate from the course. Then I directed and configured devices on local LAN and provided a floor for these devices to communicate on switches by configuring switches and a router to make the devices which are connected to the same router whether they are on the same network or not. I learned TCP/IP protocols and used my knowledge of routers while doing NAT/PAT configurations. Moreover, I learned and applied configurations on routers and switches in the network. I also learned how to make a path for two different offices in the cloud with frame relay.
