As a research assistant at the School of Social Work I am researching and developing a program to implement with new fathers. As a team, myself and my colleagues are trying to find the best ways to intervene in these men's lives to help them learn to bond with their baby and develop a lasting relationship with their child.

As an employee I have general retail responsibilities including acting as a cashier and keeping the store stocked and clean. As a shift coordinator I am responsible for assigning tasks and creating task lists. I also evaluate employee performance and hold monthly team meetings to ensure the staff is knowledgeable of any changes within the store. I adapted a summer day-camp for youth aged 10-16 intended to help these youth become more well-adjusted. While working with these students I co-facilitated a workshop on positive decision making that is meant to keep youth out of trouble, as well as teaching them how to build and maintain positive relationships.
