  1. NPI Primary Role - Drive related engineering activities to ensure Ibiden Electronics Malaysia (IEM) manufacturing requirements is aligning with Intel product substrate design requirements. - Utilize FMEA (Failure Mode/Effect Analysis) to provide analysis on manufacturing process and generate improvements action. - Hands-on experience in product builds, troubleshooting, and optimization during NPI prototype stage development. - Develop manufacturing process condition that improves the quality, productivity and cost of prototype product before transition to mass production (HVM). 2. NPI Product Lead - Identify primary yield defect from either In-Line parameter, Test parameter, Visual Inspection criteria, and Product shipment criteria. - Analyse root cause findings whether any changes needed in term of Design, Product Material, Process Flow, Process Condition, Machine Jig or Operational Training. - Escalation with related Department participant to mitigate additional risk assessment and judges if countermeasure changes decided will impact any area when it is applied. - Proposal to Intel approval after Internal Meeting agreement and present pros and cons of the countermeasure changes based on Intel product requirement and IEM manufacturing requirements. - Issue Operational Instruction for Production Department when loading Prototype products to ensure all countermeasure action, design specification and criteria is on target with Intel requirement. 3. Additional Role - Responsible for Prototype loading from Frontend to Backend process to ensure zero issue for Prototype loading to meet the Shipment schedule. (On-Time Delivery OTP) - Align with Shift Technician report for any abnormal problem on Prototype loading and provide necessary recovery plan in case the reported issue impact Shipment schedule. - To attend any escalation from Production Department and monitor Prototype loading to avoid any delay and downtime that will impact Prototype Shipment schedule.
