Bio
Shane Murphy
I had the pleasure of working under Ricquel for the Seven On Your Side department. During my stint, I have come to understand why the program is so successful. In the end, this industry comes down to dedication, vision, and perseverance. Ricquel owns all these qualities, and does so with an endearing spirit for consumer advocacy. She's an outstanding supervisor that can be accredited for the continued success of Seven On Your Side as one of the most popular segments in the Bay Area.
Chloe Biggs
Ricquel is just a genuinely fun person. She is witty and warm, while still remaining unfailingly honest and to-the-point. As a Communications major, I was not previously fully aware of everything that goes on behind the scenes in the journalism/television world. After this internship, I feel significantly more confident in pursuing my dreams of entering the professional entertainment world. Ricquel encourages us to ask questions, while still expecting us to step up and make decisions using our best judgment. We have a lot of responsibilities, and are acknowledged when we excel, but also told when we could have done better. If I am told that I am doing well, I know that she really means it. She has also always been very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. Thanks for the great opportunity Ricquel!

• Media relations; oversee all media inquiries • Represent; serve as your company's main contact • Social media; create and maintain FB and Twitter accounts I actually created that, came up with my own business and went to City Hall and did the whole registration situation. Some people don’t understand how much work it is to start your own business. You have to put an ad in the newspaper in and get it out there and that’s pretty cool but there’s lots of steps to take but if you want to do it you can freaking do it. That was tough but I have to tell you if I would’ve dedicated my whole time to that and didn’t have a regular paying job I’d be killing it.
